Father of 1, diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma aka Liver cancer at age 38.
I was cycling a lot at that time, had a fall and went to hospital for treatment. Felt a lump in my leg and the doctor said it was a muscle pull so just keep it iced. However, the lump stay on for months, and the pain was getting worse. Went to further investigate and had a MRI and found out that I have a tumor in my thigh. Asked the doctor to check whether it has spread and after a CT scan, a tumor was found, which led to the diagnosis being Liver cancer. I was given 2 months to live as a Stage 4 patient as the cancer has spread. That was Nov'22 and at point of writing (Sept'23), I am still here.
